Milestones to Secure

Have you been working on your attachment patterns but struggle to tell if you're actually making progress? Do you wonder where you are on the journey—and what comes next?

What if healing isn't about reaching a destination, but recognizing the milestones along the way?

The journey from insecure to secure attachment isn't a straight line. It's a gradual movement across a spectrum—sometimes forward, sometimes sideways, occasionally feeling like you're going backward.

But there ARE recognizable milestones. Markers of progress. Signs that something fundamental is shifting.

When you understand the map of attachment change, you stop wondering "Am I doing this right?" and start noticing: "Oh, I'm actually doing this. I'm changing."

You learn to see the pattern of your growth, understanding the factors that support healing, and learning to celebrate each step forward - even the messy, non-linear ones.

Join us for a FREE & LIVE workshop exploring the journey from insecure to secure attachment.

Sunday, February 22nd, 10 am - 12 pm CET • LIVE & INTERACTIVE

What You'll Learn

#1 The Attachment Style Spectrum

Discover why healing isn't about jumping from "insecure" to "secure" overnight. Learn to recognize where you are on the spectrum - and what movement actually looks like. Understand the three key capacities that grow along the way: secure behaviors, reflective functioning, and emotional regulation.

#2 The Factors That Support Attachment Change

Explore the specific conditions that create movement toward secure attachment: intention, corrective experiences, narrative coherence, attachment awareness, interpersonal process, and attachment psychology. Learn which factors you're already working with—and which might accelerate your healing.

#3 Recognizing Your Milestones

Experience reflection exercises that help you identify signs of progress: moments when you paused instead of reacting, times you asked for support instead of shutting down, small wins in regulation or vulnerability. Learn to celebrate the real markers of change—not perfection, but direction. Understand that healing happens in spirals, not straight lines.

You're probably further along than you think. You just need to know what you're looking for.

Hi! I’m Martin.

For 25 years—as both a clinical psychologist and someone on my own healing path—I've witnessed two powerful truths:

  • We cannot avoid the deep impact our attachment patterns have in our lives
  • We were not meant to figure this out on our own

In therapy groups, retreats, and countless conversations, I keep hearing the same realization: "This was the missing piece."

That's why I created the Attachment Workshop Series—a completely free, 6-workshop journey that brings together the science of attachment psychology with the healing power of community.

We need each other to rewire our nervous systems, undo aloneness, and practice secure relating. Your healing doesn't have to be a solitary journey.

The Secure Base Lab aspires to serve as a living ecosystem for attachment healing — where people don’t just learn about attachment theory and secure relating, but become it through relational experience, reflection, and shared humanity.

I hope you'll join us.

What is the Attachment Awareness Workshop Series?

The Attachment Awareness Workshop Series is a free, six-part journey where psychologists, therapists, and a supportive community help you uncover patterns, heal old wounds, and practice secure, connected ways of relating—so you can build the relationships and life you’ve been longing for.

Each workshop stands alone, but the series is designed as a journey. You can join any workshop that resonates with you.
