2. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSUMPTIONS OF RISK

2.1 Voluntary Participation

You understand that participation in this program is entirely voluntary. You may discontinue participation at any time, though refunds are subject to our refund policy.

2.2 Personal Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are participating at your own discretion and responsibility
  • You are responsible for your own emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing
  • You will seek appropriate professional help if you experience mental health concerns
  • You will not rely solely on this program for addressing serious mental health issues
  • It is crucial not to disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it based on course content

2.3 Medical and Medication Decisions

Under no circumstances should you discontinue any medications without consulting with your physician, mental health provider, or other qualified healthcare professional. If you believe you may have a medical or mental health concern, contact your healthcare provider promptly.

2.4 Fitness for Participation

By enrolling, you represent that:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You are mentally and emotionally capable of participating in educational content about attachment and relationships
  • You understand that emotional content may arise during the program
  • You are not in acute mental health crisis requiring immediate professional intervention

3. COURSE MATERIALS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

3.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • If you'd like others to access this course, they must purchase their own enrollment

3.3 Session Recordings and Ownership 

Group sessions may be recorded for quality assurance, training purposes, and to provide materials for future participants. By participating, you grant The Secure Base Lab ownership rights to these recordings, including your contributions. We will not make recordings with identifiable individual content publicly available without your written consent.

If your course includes group interactions or community elements, all participants agree to:

  • Maintain confidentiality about what others share
  • Treat all participants with respect and professionalism
  • Respect the privacy of others' personal experiences

  • That other participants will maintain complete confidentiality
  • Complete privacy in group settings
  • That personal information won't be inadvertently disclosed

4.3 Termination for Guideline Violations

We reserve the right to terminate your participation if you are unable to follow our community guidelines or engage in behavior that is disruptive or harmful to other participants or the learning environment. In such cases, we will provide a refund for any remaining unused portion of the course.

6. REFUND POLICY

6.1 Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are unsatisfied with the course, let us know within the first 14 days after your purchase and receive a full refund. Send us an email to [email protected]. No questions asked.

6.2 Course Cancellation by Us

While we strive to facilitate all scheduled sessions, if a course must be canceled due to low enrollment or circumstances beyond our control, we will issue a full refund or provide the option to join a future offering.
